Morning Wire
A lackluster overnight finishing near lows in ags, macros benign, US weather remains threatening west but rains fell/are falling in IA.
Its Friday and next week is fund roll and crop report week. Much hinges on weekend rains and further forecasts.
Well, it wasnt lower by the overnight close in US ags … Forecast is somewhat hot next week and fairly dry, EU drought continues, US wheat futures hanging by a thread to lows.
A higher night in ag futures, but not technically significant. Lots of competing theories on US weather forecasts, lots of small tenders closing the next couple days. Feels like a messy Wednesday.
Lower again overnight but nothing happened technically. Test of July lows for wheats looms.
Lower overnights in ags, but light breaks compared to last weeks gains. Macros quiet. Lots of small news. Maybe slightly less bullish US and EU weather. Index Rolls/Crop Report coming the next two weeks.
No changes, ags higher as here comes the US heat and lack of rain in the US corn/soybean belt key areas
US and EU weather continues forecast very hot for 10 days at least and dry also, CZ2 is at a major technical point after the night session.
all US ag futures slightly higher overnight, ridge of heat moves slightly eastward to encompass C US in the 8-14 day forecast, Fed rate hike today at 1PM CT.
