A quiet flat price US row crop overnight session but with continued old crop-new crop cal spread weakness, wheats showing signs of more fund short risk-off price action
Slightly higher in ags overnight, CN/CZ loses ground again but wheat cal spreads unch and quiet. First intentions day for July futures a week from Friday.
Crude lower despite the Israel/Iran war. US ags lower on excellent forecasts. July options expire this Friday.
Israel attacks Iran. Crude screamed but already all macros are tempering overnight moves. Ags higher but off overnight highs other than corn which was slightly lower somehow.
US ag overnights end higher. Oddly spring wheat led. US weekly ag export sales report were OK for corn and wheat and shoddy again for soybeans. USDX on contract lows.
A technically meaningless overnight bounce in US ags other than CZ now testing its 20 day ma line and CN getting close. US/China supposedly making nice. US CPI came in slightly below guesses.
US winter wheats dip through lowest MA line overnight but recover. Matif wheat holding above contract lows. Corn dips then recovers to unch also.
Lower overnight in US ags except beans unch. US/China trade talks today in London.
