A quiet night awaiting the USDA crop reports and FSA data today, Matif wheat made new highs overnight.
Palmoil screams into new contract highs, Matif wheat touches contract highs in Dec futures, US futures follow in beans and corn rallies but US wheats hold steady.
Corn reacted poorly to yesterday afternoons 11% increase in IL g/ex, the rest of ags were in chop-chop mode ahead of the report.
An interesting night of choppiness ending a in lower ag finish as first we had a metals flash crash then we had a crude break overnight. We see nothing technically for breakouts and believe the ag markets are still chopping sideways awaiting the Thursday crop report.
A little higher overnight. China buys another 131,000 US soybeans this AM. The trade awaits the Sep roll and next weeks crop reports
300,000 MT US soybeans sold to unknown flash sale this AM after a lackluster quiet overnight session and good US corn weekly export sales this AM.
