Suggestions of progress in US/Iran talks. Equities rally. US ags featured another shift to drier for S Plains and KC wheat rallying overnight.

Thursday April 16th, 2026 Short wire this AM. In general regarding US ags, we are of the opinion that all thoughts are bounded by “in the absense of a complete KS HRW drought” we are overpriced vs global grains, wheat/corn, kc wheats vs other wheats/ maybe even kc cal spreads…

US to blockade gulf, talks did not go well this weekend. Grains higher, soy complex mixed. Crude higher, other macros bouncing off lower opens.

Macros pause overnight awaiting the talks this weekend. US grains have small losses but the bean complex mixed with beans and meal higher but beanoil lower.

US ags bounce on possible ceasefire problems. Wheats and beans right back in the sloppy sideways chop range of the past month plus. Corn still testing the low end of the range at 450. Crude higher but most macros pretty stable.
