I began my ag commodities career when I was a sophomore in college. After growing up in Mankato, MN, I got my first taste of the MGEX as a pit reporter and ended up working for the Exchange in an operations/clearing role for 8 years. I graduated in 2010 with a BSB in Finance from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. I enjoyed my time in operations at the MGEX but was especially excited when Frontier offered me an internship in 2014. I spent the first year at Frontier shadowing Adam and Scott, asking questions, and getting a feel for the intricacies of grain futures markets. They really put an emphasis on cash values, calendar spreads, and intermarket relationships across the grains complex. After a year of interning, I obtained my Series 3 and began what ended up being my true enthusiasm as a broker/trader. I love talking with customers about financial markets, current events, and all things grain!
